Each morning, our Explorers participate in a 40-minute swim lesson, led by certified swim instructors who receive support from group counselors. In the afternoon, the groups return for supervised free swim sessions. Our swim lessons are structured around skill levels rather than age, allowing us to challenge and support swimmers at varying proficiencies. Our instructors undergo annual training and draw from a wealth of experience, incorporating techniques from the American Red Cross along with over 25 years of practical expertise in teaching children to swim.
Learn to Ride a Bicycle
Mastering the skill of bicycle riding has evolved into a significant childhood milestone, and Oak Crest, situated in 07921, NJ, provides an ideal setting for this achievement through its newly established Bicycle Village. This innovative facility includes a 1/4-mile training course, a state-of-the-art pump track, and a mountain bike preparation trail.

In preparation for each season, our ropes courses undergo comprehensive safety inspections and certification by the company responsible for their construction. Furthermore, our certified ropes instructors, who also guide the groups through all ropes courses, conduct daily safety checks to ensure the well-being of our campers.
