3-5 Year Olds (Munchkins)

Oak Crest caters to the needs of 3 to 5-year-olds through its Munchkin Division, offering both 5 full-day and 3 full-day programs. One distinguishing feature is the commitment to a low camper-to-staff ratio, ensuring each child receives personalized attention. Each group comprises 10 to 12 campers with the dedicated support of 3 to 4 staff members, prioritizing safety and fostering a nurturing environment.

 

In the Munchkin Program, a significant emphasis is placed on developing swimming skills. The program is designed to instill comfort and proficiency in the water, with specially trained Munchkin Specialists leading the way. Beyond swimming, the program integrates various athletic and creative activities that serve to enhance gross and fine motor skills. This holistic approach is geared towards providing an age-appropriate and enriching experience for each child in the program, fostering not only water confidence but also overall physical and cognitive development.

Explorers (1st and 2nd Graders)

Juniors (3rd & 4th Graders)

Engaging in pursuits such as Archery, Mountain Biking, Lacrosse, High Ropes, BMX, Skatepark, and the thrilling Camper vs. Wild, Juniors are immersed in both athletic and creative endeavors. The program is designed to not only entertain but also educate, incorporating Instructional Swim and granting access to the Climbing Tower to further develop skills and confidence.As part of the Junior experience, campers get to extend the fun with Late Nights. This unique feature provides extended camp access, offering a special dinner, additional swim and games, a unique event, and culminating in a twilight campfire complete with the classic delight of S’mores. The inclusion of Late Nights adds an extra layer of excitement and camaraderie to the Junior program, creating lasting memories for campers as they fully immerse themselves in the Oak Crest experience.

Seniors (5th & 6th Graders)

The Senior program goes beyond the conventional by offering a wide range of advanced Choice offerings.
