They have the opportunity to engage in a variety of activities and select from more advanced options. The standout events of the summer for senior campers encompass Late Nights, which extend camp hours to offer a special dinner, additional swim time, extra games, a distinctive event, and a twilight campfire complete with S’mores.
Senior Athletics

Creative Arts

Learn to Swim
In 08558, NJ, Oak Crest’s Learn to Swim Program is a fundamental component of the Oak Crest experience, making use of a state-of-the-art aquatic facility. Senior campers have exclusive access to the impressive Gigantic Pool, equipped with eight 25-meter lanes.
Each morning, seniors engage in a 40-minute swim lesson led by certified swim instructors, with additional support from group counselors. Our swim lessons are skill-based rather than age-dependent, enabling us to challenge swimmers of various proficiency levels. We annually train and certify our own instructors, drawing upon over 25 years of practical experience in teaching children how to swim. In the afternoons, senior campers have the opportunity to enjoy Free Swim sessions in the pools.
Ropes Courses
In 08558, NJ, senior campers actively engage in weekly activities at the Climbing Tower and High Ropes course. The Climbing Tower boasts two distinctive rock walls, a thrilling 200-yard Zipline, a challenging Giant Cargo Net, Jacob’s Ladder, and an exhilarating Giant Swing. Meanwhile, the High Ropes course offers additional rock walls, mid-air challenges, and a state-of-the-art High Ropes Confidence Course.

Choice

In addition to these options, senior campers also have the exciting opportunity to be part of our annual Drama Production or take part in the special Dance routine, collectively referred to as Showcrest. The senior performances in both the Drama and Dance productions consistently shine as standout highlights of the show.
Social Development
