3-5 Year Olds (Munchkins)

Oak Crest offers two program options for children aged 3 to 5 in the Munchkin Division: a 5 full-day and a 3 full-day program. We maintain a low camper-to-staff ratio of 10 to 12 campers per group, ensuring personalized attention and a strong emphasis on safety and nurturing care.

Our Munchkin Program places a significant focus on swimming, aiming to instill both comfort and proficiency in the water. In addition to swimming, the program also enhances gross and fine motor skills through a variety of athletic and creative activities. These activities are led by specially trained Munchkin Specialists who provide age-appropriate and enriching experiences for the children.

3 5 Year Old Summer Camp Learn to Swim Near Sayreville

Explorers (1st and 2nd Graders)

In the Sayreville location, our Explorers program shares similarities with the Munchkins, involving participants in various athletic and creative pursuits. It places an emphasis on improving swimming abilities and nurturing social and emotional intelligence. For first graders, we introduce exciting elements like the Climbing Tower, Zipline, Giant Swing, and GAGA.

As campers advance to the second grade, they have the opportunity to participate in CHOICE periods. This allows them to select their preferred activities on a weekly basis, tailoring their camp experience to their individual interests and preferences.

1st and 2nd grade Summer Camp near Sayreville

Juniors (3rd & 4th Graders)

In Sayreville at Oak Crest, the Junior program encompasses a diverse array of activities such as Archery, Mountain Biking, Lacrosse, High Ropes, BMX, Skatepark, and Camper vs. Wild. This program combines athletic and creative pursuits with Instructional Swim and access to the Climbing Tower. Juniors also have the opportunity to partake in Late Nights, which involve extended camp access, a special dinner, additional swim time, games, a unique event, and a twilight campfire with S’mores.

3rd and 4th grade Summer Camp near Sayreville

Seniors (5th & 6th Graders)

At Sayreville’s Oak Crest, Senior campers partake in a comprehensive program that includes all camp activities, enriching day trips like Dorney Park, and a wide selection of advanced Choice options. Additionally, they engage in Senior Late Nights, which entail extended camp hours, a special dinner, extra swim time, games, a distinctive event, and a twilight campfire complete with S’mores.

5th and 6th grade Summer Camp near Sayreville

Teen Travel (7th, 8th, & 9th Graders)

During the Choice period at Sayreville’s Oak Crest, campers have the opportunity to pick an activity they’d like to engage in for the week. The options available change regularly, allowing campers to explore different activities each week. In addition to a diverse range of athletic and creative pursuits, Senior campers can also opt to take part in our annual Drama Production or join our special Dance routine. These performances are collectively known as Showcrest, and the participation of Senior campers in both Drama and Dance productions is consistently a highlight of the show.

Social Development
