Leadership Trip: GLOBAL ROUTES: Appalachian Leadership Training Expedition at Worthington State Forest
This outing involves a hiking experience in Worthington State Forest, emphasizing practical skills like backpack preparation, rock climbing, hiking, campsite setup, and canoeing on the Delaware River. The program imparts teamwork, leadership, and responsibility in teenagers through leadership training from Oak Crest and Global Routes staff, along with intensive hiking and camping activities. The main goal is to challenge young participants to exceed their comfort zones and uncover their potential. With an eight-year successful track record, the program consistently receives positive reviews and demonstrates commendable outcomes.
