Leadership Trip: GLOBAL ROUTES: Appalachian Leadership Training Expedition at Worthington State Forest
This expedition involves a hiking experience in Worthington State Forest, emphasizing practical skills like backpack preparation, rock climbing, hiking, campsite setup, and canoeing on the Delaware River. The program instills teamwork, leadership, and responsibility in teenagers through training from Oak Crest and Global Routes staff, combined with extensive hiking and camping activities. The main goal is to challenge participants, urging them to go beyond their comfort zones and discover their potential. With a successful eight-year track record, the program has consistently received positive reviews and demonstrated commendable outcomes.
