The LIT Experience

Leadership Trip: GLOBAL ROUTES: Appalachian Leadership Training Expedition at Worthington State Forest
This expedition involves a hiking experience in Worthington State Forest, emphasizing practical skills like backpack preparation, rock climbing, hiking, campsite setup, and canoeing on the Delaware River. The program instills teamwork, leadership, and responsibility in teenagers through training by Oak Crest and Global Routes staff, coupled with extensive hiking and camping activities. The main goal is to challenge participants, urging them to exceed their comfort zones and uncover their potential. With a successful eight-year track record, the program consistently garners positive reviews and showcases commendable outcomes.
