Leadership Trip: GLOBAL ROUTES: Appalachian Leadership Training Expedition at Worthington State Forest
Participate in a hiking excursion in Worthington State Forest, with a focus on practical skills like backpack preparation, rock climbing, hiking, campsite setup, and canoeing on the Delaware River. The program instills teamwork, leadership, and responsibility in teenagers through training provided by Oak Crest and Global Routes staff. The primary goal is to challenge participants to surpass their comfort zones and discover their potential. With eight years of success, the program consistently receives positive reviews and demonstrates commendable outcomes.
