Leadership Trip: GLOBAL ROUTES: Appalachian Leadership Training Expedition at Worthington State Forest
Participate in a rigorous hiking expedition in Worthington State Forest, with a strong emphasis on practical skills encompassing backpack preparation, rock climbing, hiking, campsite establishment, and canoeing along the Delaware River. This program is designed to cultivate essential qualities such as teamwork, leadership, and responsibility in adolescents. Leadership training is provided by a collaborative effort between Oak Crest and Global Routes staff, supplemented by an array of hiking and camping experiences.
The primary aim is to challenge young participants, encouraging them to step beyond their comfort zones and unlock their untapped potential. With an established track record spanning eight years, this program consistently garners positive feedback and delivers commendable outcomes.
