Leadership Trip: GLOBAL ROUTES: Appalachian Leadership Training Expedition at Worthington State Forest
Embark on a hiking excursion in Worthington State Forest near Belle Mead, emphasizing practical skills such as backpack preparation, rock climbing, hiking, campsite setup, and canoeing on the Delaware River. The program aims to instill teamwork, leadership, and responsibility in teenagers through training provided by both Oak Crest and Global Routes staff, along with immersive hiking and camping activities. The main goal is to challenge participants to exceed their comfort zones and uncover their potential. With a successful track record spanning eight years, the program has consistently garnered positive reviews and demonstrated commendable outcomes.
