Leadership Trip: GLOBAL ROUTES: Appalachian Leadership Training Expedition at Worthington State Forest
This program involves a hiking expedition in Worthington State Forest, emphasizing practical skills like backpack preparation, rock climbing, hiking, campsite setup, and canoeing on the Delaware River. It aims to instill teamwork, leadership, and responsibility in teenagers through training provided by Oak Crest and Global Routes staff, combined with extensive hiking and camping activities. The main goal is to challenge participants to surpass their comfort zones and discover their potential. With a successful eight-year track record, the program has consistently garnered positive reviews and shown commendable outcomes.
