Leadership Trip: GLOBAL ROUTES: Appalachian Leadership Training Expedition at Worthington State Forest
Engage in a hiking expedition at Worthington State Forest in Franklin Park, focusing on essential skills like backpack preparation, rock climbing, hiking, campsite setup, and canoeing on the Delaware River. This program emphasizes practical experiences to instill teamwork, leadership, and responsibility in teenagers. Leadership training is provided by both Oak Crest and Global Routes staff, incorporating extensive hiking and camping activities. The main goal is to challenge participants, urging them to surpass their comfort zones and discover their potential. With an established track record spanning eight years, the program consistently garners positive reviews and demonstrates commendable outcomes.
