Leadership Trip: GLOBAL ROUTES: Appalachian Leadership Training Expedition at Worthington State Forest
This expedition offers a hiking experience in Worthington State Forest, emphasizing practical skills like backpack preparation, rock climbing, hiking, campsite setup, and canoeing on the Delaware River. The program instills teamwork, leadership, and responsibility in teenagers through training by Oak Crest and Global Routes staff, along with extensive hiking and camping activities. The main goal is to challenge participants, pushing them beyond their comfort zones to discover their potential. With a successful eight-year track record, the program consistently receives positive reviews and demonstrates commendable outcomes.
