Leadership Trip: GLOBAL ROUTES: Appalachian Leadership Training Expedition at Worthington State Forest
Embark on a hiking expedition in Worthington State Forest near Neshanic Station, emphasizing practical skills like backpack preparation, rock climbing, hiking, campsite setup, and canoeing on the Delaware River. This program fosters teamwork, leadership, and responsibility in teenagers through training from Oak Crest and Global Routes staff, coupled with intensive hiking and camping activities. The main goal is to challenge participants to push beyond their comfort zones and uncover their potential. With a successful eight-year track record, the program has consistently garnered positive reviews and shown commendable outcomes.
