Leadership Trip: GLOBAL ROUTES: Appalachian Leadership Training Expedition at Worthington State Forest
This adventure involves a hiking expedition in Worthington State Forest, emphasizing practical skills like backpack preparation, rock climbing, hiking, campsite setup, and canoeing on the Delaware River. The program instills teamwork, leadership, and responsibility in teenagers through training from Oak Crest and Global Routes staff, coupled with extensive hiking and camping activities. The main goal is to challenge participants, urging them to exceed their comfort zones and uncover their potential. With an eight-year successful track record, the program has consistently garnered positive reviews and shown commendable outcomes.
