Leadership Trip: GLOBAL ROUTES: Appalachian Leadership Training Expedition at Worthington State Forest
Engage in a hiking expedition in Worthington State Forest near Raritan, emphasizing practical skills like backpack preparation, rock climbing, hiking, campsite setup, and canoeing on the Delaware River. This program instills teamwork, leadership, and responsibility in teenagers through training provided by Oak Crest and Global Routes staff, alongside extensive hiking and camping activities. The main goal is to challenge participants, urging them to surpass comfort zones and discover their potential. With a successful eight-year track record, the program consistently garners positive reviews and demonstrates commendable outcomes.
