Notable summer highlights for senior campers encompass ‘Late Nights,’ which grant extended camp access for an exclusive dinner experience, additional swim sessions, extra games, a distinctive event, and a twilight campfire complete with S’mores.
Senior Athletics

Furthermore, our Senior Boys and Girls incorporate League Play into their schedules, engaging in friendly competitions in Soccer, Handball, Football, and Dodgeball. These activities rotate weekly, offering a variety of opponents and challenges.
Creative Arts

Learn to Swim
In 07016, NJ, Oak Crest’s Learn to Swim Program serves as a fundamental component of our camp experience, making use of a state-of-the-art aquatic facility that includes the impressive Gigantic Pool, featuring eight 25m lanes.
Every morning, senior campers engage in a 40-minute swim lesson led by certified swim instructors, with support from group counselors. Our swim lessons are skill-based rather than age-dependent, allowing us to challenge swimmers at various proficiency levels. We annually train and certify our own instructors, drawing on over 25 years of practical experience in teaching children how to swim. In the afternoons, senior campers return to the pools for Free Swim.
Ropes Courses
In 07016, NJ, senior campers regularly engage in the Climbing Tower and High Ropes course as part of their weekly activities. The Climbing Tower offers two distinct rock walls, a 200-yard Zipline, a Giant Cargo Net, Jacob’s Ladder, and the Giant Swing for an exhilarating experience. The High Ropes course complements this adventure with additional rock walls, mid-air challenges, and a state-of-the-art High Ropes Confidence Course.
To ensure the utmost safety, our ropes courses undergo rigorous inspection and certification before each season, conducted by the company responsible for their construction. Furthermore, our certified ropes instructors, who lead the groups through all courses, perform daily safety checks to guarantee a secure and enjoyable experience.
Choice
In 07016, NJ, our campers have the opportunity to make choices during the Choice period, where they can select an activity for the week from a rotating list. Each week, campers can choose a new activity from a diverse list that encompasses both athletic and creative options.
In addition to these choices, our senior campers have the privilege to participate in our annual Drama Production or join the special Dance routine, collectively known as Showcrest. The performances by seniors in both the Drama and Dance productions consistently shine as standout highlights of our camp program.
Social Development
