Senior campers in 07059, NJ, have exclusive access to Oak Crest’s diverse activity offerings, which include popular day trips like Dorney Park visits. They can select from a wide range of activities, including more advanced options. Notable summer highlights for seniors include Late Nights, extending camp hours for a special dinner, additional swimming opportunities, extra games, unique events, and an evening campfire with S’mores.
Senior Athletics
Seniors at our 07059, NJ location enjoy an extensive array of athletic activities on full-sized fields. Our weekly schedules feature a wide range of sports including Soccer, Football, Tennis, Lacrosse, Archery, Basketball, Hockey, BMX, Skateboarding, and more. These activities are led by dedicated Athletic Specialists who provide skill instruction followed by gameplay to reinforce the newly acquired skills. In addition to regular sports, Senior Boys and Girls also participate in League Play as part of their schedules. This involves friendly competitions in Soccer, Handball, Football, and Dodgeball, with activities and opponents rotating on a weekly basis.
Creative Arts

Learn to Swim
In 07059, NJ, Oak Crest’s Learn to Swim Program is an integral part of our camp experience, taking advantage of our state-of-the-art aquatic facility. Seniors gain access to the impressive Gigantic Pool, which boasts eight 25-meter lanes.
Each morning, seniors participate in a 40-minute swim lesson led by certified swim instructors, with the assistance of group counselors. Our swim lessons focus on skill development rather than age, allowing us to challenge swimmers at various proficiency levels. We take pride in annually training and certifying our own instructors, drawing on over 25 years of practical experience in teaching children how to swim. In the afternoons, senior campers have the opportunity for Free Swim in our pools.
Ropes Courses
In 07059, NJ, our senior campers engage in weekly sessions on our Climbing Tower and High Ropes course. The Climbing Tower boasts two distinct rock walls, a thrilling 200-yard Zipline, a challenging Giant Cargo Net, Jacob’s Ladder, and the exhilarating Giant Swing. Meanwhile, the High Ropes course offers additional rock walls, mid-air challenges, and a state-of-the-art High Ropes Confidence Course.
Safety is our top priority, and our ropes courses undergo thorough inspection and certification before each season by the company responsible for their construction. Moreover, our certified ropes instructors, who expertly guide the groups through all the courses, conduct daily safety checks to ensure a secure and enjoyable experience for our campers.
Choice

Each week, campers have the opportunity to choose a new activity from a diverse and ever-changing selection, which encompasses both athletic and creative pursuits.
For our Seniors, there are additional exciting options. They can opt to participate in our annual Drama Production or join the special Dance routine, collectively known as Showcrest. The Senior performances in both the Drama and Dance productions consistently shine as standout highlights of our program.
Social Development
