Senior Athletics

Moreover, Senior Boys and Girls integrate League Play into their schedules, participating in friendly competitions that encompass Soccer, Handball, Football, and Dodgeball. This dynamic program features rotating activities and opponents on a weekly basis, adding excitement and variety to the experience.
Creative Arts

Each week, our program offers diverse sessions in Ceramics, Music, Mad Science, Cooking, Drama, Nature exploration, Camper vs. Wild challenges, Dance, Digital Photography, Jewelry Making, Computers, and more. Additionally, our Senior Girl groups take center stage in our annual Showcrest, a significant Dance and Drama Production held traditionally during the 6th week of camp at a local venue. Learn to Swim
Within 07920, NJ, Oak Crest’s Learn to Swim Program plays a pivotal role in shaping the Oak Crest experience, making use of a cutting-edge aquatic facility. Our senior campers enjoy access to the impressive Gigantic Pool, boasting eight 25-meter lanes. Each morning, seniors participate in a 40-minute swim lesson led by certified swim instructors, with the support of group counselors. Our approach to swim instruction focuses on skill rather than age, enabling us to challenge swimmers at varying proficiency levels. Annually, we train and certify our own instructors, drawing upon over 25 years of practical experience in teaching children the art of swimming. In the afternoons, senior campers return to the pools for Free Swim sessions.
Ropes Courses
Located in 07920, NJ, our senior campers have the opportunity to engage in Climbing Tower and High Ropes course activities on a weekly basis. The Climbing Tower offers an array of exciting features, including two distinct rock walls, a 200-yard Zipline, a Giant Cargo Net, Jacob’s Ladder, and the thrilling Giant Swing. Meanwhile, the High Ropes course comprises additional rock walls, mid-air challenges, and a state-of-the-art High Ropes Confidence Course. To prioritize safety, our ropes courses undergo rigorous inspection and certification by the construction company before the start of each season. Furthermore, our certified ropes instructors, who lead the groups through all courses, conduct daily safety checks to ensure a secure and enjoyable experience for our campers.
Choice

Each week brings a fresh set of options, allowing campers to explore a variety of athletic and creative pursuits. In addition to these choices, senior campers have the unique opportunity to either take part in our annual Drama Production or join the special Dance routine, both collectively known as Showcrest. The senior performances in both Drama and Dance consistently shine as standout highlights of the show.
