Senior campers residing in 08502, New Jersey, have the privilege of enjoying Oak Crest’s extensive array of activities, including exciting day trips like the highly sought-after Dorney Park visit. They have the opportunity to engage in a wide variety of activities, with the option to select more advanced experiences. The summer’s highlight events for seniors encompass ‘Late Nights,’ which offer extended camp access for an exclusive dinner, additional swim sessions, extra games, a one-of-a-kind event, and a twilight campfire complete with S’mores.
Senior Athletics
Senior participants in our 08502, NJ camp are immersed in a diverse array of athletic endeavors within our full-sized fields. The weekly schedules encompass sports such as Soccer, Football, Tennis, Lacrosse, Archery, Basketball, Hockey, BMX, Skateboarding, and more. Guided by experienced Athletic Specialists, each session includes comprehensive skill instruction followed by gameplay aimed at reinforcing the newly acquired skills. Our Oak Crest counselors actively engage with campers, working in tandem with specialists to create meaningful opportunities for success. In addition, Senior Boys and Girls integrate League Play into their schedules, involving friendly competitions in Soccer, Handball, Football, and Dodgeball, with activities and opponents rotating on a weekly basis.
Creative Arts

Our weekly sessions encompass diverse pursuits such as Ceramics, Music, Mad Science, Cooking, Drama, Nature exploration, Camper vs. Wild challenges, Dance, Digital Photography, Jewelry Making, Computers, and much more. Furthermore, all Senior Girl groups proudly present a dance routine as part of our annual Showcrest, a significant Dance and Drama Production. This noteworthy event, typically held during the 6th week of camp at a local venue, is enhanced with professional sound and lighting to create a truly impactful experience.
Learn to Swim
In 08502, New Jersey, Oak Crest’s Learn to Swim Program is a fundamental aspect of the Oak Crest experience, making use of a state-of-the-art aquatic facility. Seniors have exclusive access to the impressive Gigantic Pool, featuring eight 25m lanes. Every morning, Seniors participate in a 40-minute swim lesson led by certified swim instructors, with additional support from group counselors. Our swim lessons are skill-based rather than age-dependent, enabling us to challenge swimmers at various proficiency levels. We annually train and certify our own instructors, drawing upon over 25 years of practical experience in teaching children how to swim. In the afternoons, Senior Campers return to the pools for Free Swim sessions.
Ropes Courses
In 08502, New Jersey, Senior campers engage in weekly activities at the Climbing Tower and High Ropes course. The Climbing Tower boasts two distinct rock walls, a thrilling 200-yard Zipline, a challenging Giant Cargo Net, Jacob’s Ladder, and an exhilarating Giant Swing. The High Ropes course complements this adventure with additional rock walls, mid-air challenges, and a state-of-the-art High Ropes Confidence Course. To ensure the utmost safety, our ropes courses undergo thorough inspection and certification before each season by the company responsible for their construction. Furthermore, our certified ropes instructors, who expertly guide the groups through all the courses, perform daily safety checks to maintain a secure and enjoyable experience.
Choice
In 08502, New Jersey, the Choice period offers campers the flexibility to choose their preferred activity for the week from a rotating list. Each week, campers can opt for a new activity from a dynamic selection that spans athletic and creative options. Additionally, Senior campers have the unique opportunity to engage in our annual Drama Production or participate in the special Dance routine, collectively known as Showcrest. The Senior performances in both the Drama and Dance productions consistently shine as standout highlights of the show.
Social Development
