Seniors attending our camp in 08540, NJ, gain exclusive access to Oak Crest’s wide array of activities, including exciting day trips such as the highly anticipated visit to Dorney Park. They can participate in a diverse range of activities and select from more advanced options. Highlighted summer events for seniors encompass ‘Late Nights,’ which offer extended camp hours for a special dinner, additional swim sessions, extra games, a distinctive event, and a twilight campfire complete with S’mores.
Senior Athletics
Seniors at our 08540, NJ location engage in a wide array of athletic activities conducted on full-sized fields. Their weekly schedules encompass sports like Soccer, Football, Tennis, Lacrosse, Archery, Basketball, Hockey, BMX, Skateboarding, and more. These sessions, led by Athletic Specialists, include skill instruction followed by gameplay to reinforce the newly acquired skills. Oak Crest counselors actively participate alongside campers, working collaboratively with specialists to create meaningful opportunities for success.
Furthermore, Senior Boys and Girls incorporate League Play into their schedules, involving friendly competitions in Soccer, Handball, Football, and Dodgeball, with rotating activities and opponents each week.
Creative Arts

Weekly sessions encompass a wide range of disciplines, including Ceramics, Music, Mad Science, Cooking, Drama, Nature, Camper vs. Wild, Dance, Digital Photography, Jewelry Making, Computers, and more.
Furthermore, all Senior Girl groups take center stage in our annual Showcrest, a significant Dance and Drama Production. This grand event, traditionally held during the 6th week of camp at a local venue, is enhanced with professional sound and lighting to provide a truly impactful experience.
Learn to Swim
In 08540, NJ, Oak Crest’s Learn to Swim Program is a cornerstone of the Oak Crest experience, making use of a state-of-the-art aquatic facility. Seniors have exclusive access to the impressive Gigantic Pool, equipped with eight 25-meter lanes.
Each morning, seniors participate in a 40-minute swim lesson led by certified swim instructors, with additional support from group counselors. Our swim lessons are tailored to individual skill levels rather than age, enabling us to challenge swimmers at various proficiency levels. We annually train and certify our own instructors, drawing on over 25 years of practical experience in teaching children how to swim. In the afternoons, Senior Campers return to the pools for Free Swim.
Ropes Courses
In 08540, NJ, our Senior campers engage in weekly adventures on the Climbing Tower and High Ropes course. The Climbing Tower boasts two distinct rock walls, a thrilling 200-yard Zipline, a challenging Giant Cargo Net, Jacob’s Ladder, and an exhilarating Giant Swing. The High Ropes course complements this experience with additional rock walls, mid-air challenges, and a state-of-the-art High Ropes Confidence Course.
Safety is our top priority. Before each season, our ropes courses undergo thorough inspection and certification by the company responsible for their construction. In addition, our certified ropes instructors, who guide the groups through all the courses, conduct daily safety checks to ensure a secure and enjoyable experience for our campers.
Choice
In 08540, NJ, our campers enjoy a diverse array of activities during the Choice period. Each week, they have the opportunity to select a new activity from a rotating list that spans both athletic and creative options. In addition to these choices, Senior campers have the unique chance to participate in our annual Drama Production or be part of the special Dance routine, collectively referred to as Showcrest. The Senior performances in both the Drama and Dance productions consistently shine as standout highlights of our program.
Social Development
