Seniors (5th & 6th Graders) Summer Camp near 08550
Senior campers residing in 08550, NJ, have the privilege of indulging in Oak Crest’s extensive activity offerings. This includes thrilling day trips, such as the highly sought-after visit to Dorney Park. They can immerse themselves in a wide array of activities and select from advanced options. The summer’s highlights for seniors feature ‘Late Nights,’ which extends camp access for an exclusive dinner experience, additional swim sessions, extra games, a distinctive event, and a twilight campfire with the delectable addition of S’mores.
Senior Athletics
In 08550, NJ, our senior campers engage in a comprehensive array of athletic pursuits on our full-sized fields. Each week, the schedule encompasses a wide variety of sports, including Soccer, Football, Tennis, Lacrosse, Archery, Basketball, Hockey, BMX, Skateboarding, and more. Our dedicated Athletic Specialists lead each session, combining skill instruction with gameplay to reinforce newly acquired abilities. Oak Crest counselors actively participate alongside campers, working closely with specialists to foster meaningful opportunities for success.
Furthermore, our Senior Boys and Girls incorporate League Play into their schedules, featuring friendly competitions in Soccer, Handball, Football, and Dodgeball. Activities and opponents rotate on a weekly basis, adding a dynamic element to the experience.
Creative Arts

Weekly sessions encompass a diverse range of disciplines, including Ceramics, Music, Mad Science, Cooking, Drama, Nature exploration, Camper vs. Wild adventures, Dance, Digital Photography, Jewelry Making, Computers, and much more.
Furthermore, our Senior Girl groups take center stage with a captivating dance routine showcased in our annual Showcrest—an esteemed Dance and Drama Production. This grand event, traditionally held during the 6th week of camp at a local venue, boasts professional sound and lighting to ensure an unforgettable and impactful experience.
Learn to Swim
Located in 08550, NJ, Oak Crest’s Learn to Swim Program serves as a fundamental component of the Oak Crest experience, making use of a cutting-edge aquatic facility. Senior campers enjoy access to the impressive Gigantic Pool, equipped with eight 25m lanes.
Each morning, seniors engage in a 40-minute swim lesson led by certified swim instructors, supported by group counselors. Our swim lessons prioritize skill development rather than age, allowing us to challenge swimmers of varying proficiency levels. We annually train and certify our own instructors, drawing upon over 25 years of hands-on experience in teaching children the art of swimming. In the afternoons, senior campers return to the pools for Free Swim, fostering further water-based enjoyment.
Ropes Courses
Located in 08550, NJ, our senior campers actively engage in the Climbing Tower and High Ropes course on a weekly basis. The Climbing Tower boasts two distinct rock walls, an exhilarating 200-yard Zipline, a challenging Giant Cargo Net, Jacob’s Ladder, and the thrilling Giant Swing. Meanwhile, the High Ropes course offers further excitement with additional rock walls, mid-air challenges, and a state-of-the-art High Ropes Confidence Course.
To prioritize safety, our ropes courses undergo meticulous inspection and certification before each season, conducted by the company responsible for their construction. Additionally, our certified ropes instructors, who expertly guide the groups through all courses, perform daily safety checks to ensure a secure and enjoyable experience.
Choice
Within 08550, NJ, our campers enjoy the Choice period, where they can select an activity for the week from a rotating list. Every week, campers have the opportunity to choose a new activity from a diverse selection that spans both athletic and creative pursuits.
In addition to these choices, senior campers have the unique chance to participate in our annual Drama Production or become part of the special Dance routine, collectively referred to as Showcrest. The senior performances in both the Drama and Dance productions consistently shine as standout highlights of the show.
Social Development
