The summer’s highlighted events for seniors encompass Late Nights, which extend camp access for an exclusive dinner, additional swim sessions, supplementary games, a distinctive event, and an enchanting twilight campfire complete with S’mores.
Senior Athletics
Senior campers in 08805, NJ, immerse themselves in a diverse range of athletic activities on our full-sized fields. Weekly schedules feature sports like Soccer, Football, Tennis, Lacrosse, Archery, Basketball, Hockey, BMX, Skateboarding, and more. Our dedicated Athletic Specialists lead each session, offering skill instruction followed by gameplay to reinforce newly acquired skills. Creative Arts

Additionally, all Senior Girl groups take part in a special dance routine performance as part of our annual Showcrest, a significant Dance and Drama Production. Learn to Swim
In 08805, NJ, Oak Crest’s Learn to Swim Program is a cornerstone of the Oak Crest experience, offering access to a state-of-the-art aquatic facility. Seniors have the privilege of utilizing the impressive Gigantic Pool, which boasts eight 25-meter lanes. Each morning, Seniors participate in a 40-minute swim lesson led by certified swim instructors, with guidance from group counselors. Our swim lessons are skill-based rather than age-dependent, allowing us to challenge swimmers at various proficiency levels. We annually train and certify our own instructors, leveraging over 25 years of practical experience in teaching children how to swim. In the afternoons, Senior Campers enjoy Free Swim sessions at the pools.
Ropes Courses
In 08805, NJ, Senior campers engage in weekly activities on our Climbing Tower and High Ropes course. The Climbing Tower boasts two unique rock walls, a thrilling 200-yard Zipline, a Giant Cargo Net, Jacob’s Ladder, and the exhilarating Giant Swing. Meanwhile, the High Ropes course offers additional rock walls, mid-air challenges, and a state-of-the-art High Ropes Confidence Course. Safety is our utmost priority, and our ropes courses undergo thorough inspection and certification before each season by the company responsible for their construction. Moreover, our certified ropes instructors, who expertly guide the groups through all courses, perform daily safety checks to ensure a secure and enjoyable experience for our campers.
Choice
In 08805, NJ, during the Choice period, campers enjoy the flexibility of choosing an activity for the week from a rotating list of options. Each week, campers have the opportunity to select a new activity from a diverse list that encompasses both athletic and creative pursuits. In addition to these choices, Senior campers can also participate in our annual Drama Production or take part in a special Dance routine, collectively known as Showcrest. The Senior performances in both the Drama and Dance productions consistently shine as standout highlights of the overall experience.
Social Development
