Senior campers in 08812, New Jersey, have exclusive access to Oak Crest’s wide array of activities, which includes exciting day trips like the highly popular Dorney Park visit. They can also engage in a comprehensive selection of activities, with the option to choose more advanced experiences. Notable summer highlights for senior campers include ‘Late Nights,’ offering extended camp access for a special dinner, extra swim time, additional games, unique events, and a twilight campfire featuring S’mores.
Senior Athletics
Senior campers at our 08812, NJ location engage in a diverse array of athletic activities on our full-sized fields. Weekly schedules feature sports such as Soccer, Football, Tennis, Lacrosse, Archery, Basketball, Hockey, BMX, Skateboarding, and more. These activities are led by specialized athletic instructors, with each session consisting of skill instruction followed by gameplay aimed at reinforcing the newly acquired abilities. Oak Crest counselors actively participate alongside campers, collaborating with specialists to create meaningful opportunities for success.
Furthermore, Senior Boys and Girls incorporate League Play into their schedules, which involves friendly competitions in Soccer, Handball, Football, and Dodgeball. These competitions feature rotating activities and opponents on a weekly basis.
Creative Arts

Our weekly sessions cover diverse areas such as Ceramics, Music, Mad Science, Cooking, Drama, Nature, Camper vs. Wild, Dance, Digital Photography, Jewelry Making, Computers, and more.
Additionally, Senior Girl groups take center stage in our annual Showcrest, a significant Dance and Drama Production. This grand event, typically held during the 6th week of camp at a local venue, features professional sound and lighting to deliver a truly impactful experience.
Learn to Swim
Located in 08812, NJ, Oak Crest’s Learn to Swim Program is an integral component of our camp experience, making use of a state-of-the-art aquatic facility. Senior campers enjoy access to the impressive Gigantic Pool, equipped with eight 25m lanes.
Every morning, seniors engage in a 40-minute swim lesson, guided by certified swim instructors and supported by group counselors. Our swim lessons are skill-based rather than age-dependent, enabling us to challenge swimmers of varying proficiency levels. We take pride in annually training and certifying our instructors, drawing from over 25 years of practical experience in teaching children the art of swimming. In the afternoons, senior campers return to the pools for Free Swim.
Ropes Courses
Located in 08812, NJ, our senior campers eagerly participate in the Climbing Tower and High Ropes course on a weekly basis. The Climbing Tower boasts two distinct rock walls, a thrilling 200-yard Zipline, a challenging Giant Cargo Net, Jacob’s Ladder, and the exhilarating Giant Swing. Meanwhile, the High Ropes course offers additional rock walls, mid-air challenges, and a state-of-the-art High Ropes Confidence Course.
Safety is our top priority. Our ropes courses undergo rigorous inspection and certification before each season, carried out by the company responsible for their construction. Furthermore, our certified ropes instructors, who guide the groups through all the courses, conduct daily safety checks to ensure a secure and enjoyable experience for our campers.
Choice
In 08812, NJ, during the Choice period, campers have the freedom to choose their activities for the week from a rotating selection. Each week, campers can explore new options from a dynamic list that encompasses a diverse range of athletic and creative activities.
Moreover, for seniors, there’s the special opportunity to take part in our annual Drama Production or participate in the unique Dance routine, both of which are part of the grand spectacle known as Showcrest. The Senior performances in both the Drama and Dance productions consistently shine as standout highlights of the show.
Social Development
