Senior Athletics
At our 08820, NJ location, senior campers enjoy a wide array of athletic activities on our full-sized fields. Weekly schedules feature sports such as Soccer, Football, Tennis, Lacrosse, Archery, Basketball, Hockey, BMX, Skateboarding, and more. Led by dedicated Athletic Specialists, each session begins with skill instruction and transitions into gameplay designed to reinforce the newly acquired skills. Creative Arts

Additionally, all senior girl groups take part in a special performance, showcasing a dance routine as part of our annual Showcrest event. Learn to Swim
Located in 08820, NJ, Oak Crest’s Learn to Swim Program is a fundamental component of our camp experience, taking full advantage of our state-of-the-art aquatic facility. Seniors have exclusive access to the impressive Gigantic Pool, featuring eight 25m lanes.
Each morning, seniors engage in a 40-minute swim lesson led by certified swim instructors, with additional support from group counselors. Our swim lessons are skill-based, tailored to individual proficiency rather than age, enabling us to challenge swimmers at various levels of expertise. We take pride in annually training and certifying our own instructors, drawing upon over 25 years of practical experience in teaching children how to swim. In the afternoons, senior campers return to the pools for Free Swim.
Ropes Courses
Within 08820, NJ, our senior campers engage in weekly sessions at the Climbing Tower and High Ropes course, offering a thrilling adventure experience. The Climbing Tower boasts two distinct rock walls, a 200-yard Zipline, a Giant Cargo Net, Jacob’s Ladder, and an exhilarating Giant Swing. Meanwhile, the High Ropes course features additional rock walls, mid-air challenges, and a state-of-the-art High Ropes Confidence Course.
To ensure the utmost safety, our ropes courses undergo thorough inspection and certification before each season, conducted by the company responsible for their construction. Furthermore, our certified ropes instructors, responsible for guiding campers through all courses, carry out daily safety checks to guarantee a secure and enjoyable experience.
Choice
In 08820, NJ, during the Choice period, campers have the freedom to choose a weekly activity from a rotating list. Each week, campers can opt for a new activity from a diverse list that spans both athletic and creative pursuits. In addition to these choices, senior campers have the unique chance to partake in our annual Drama Production or contribute to the special Dance routine, collectively known as Showcrest. The senior performances in both the Drama and Dance productions consistently shine as the show’s highlights.
Social Development
