Senior Athletics

Learn to Swim
In 08821, NJ, Oak Crest’s Learn to Swim Program is a cornerstone of the Oak Crest experience, making use of a state-of-the-art aquatic facility that includes the impressive Gigantic Pool with eight 25m lanes. Seniors benefit from this program with daily 40-minute swim lessons led by certified swim instructors, with the support of group counselors. Unlike age-dependent programs, our swim lessons are skill-based, allowing us to challenge swimmers at various proficiency levels. We take pride in annually training and certifying our own instructors, drawing upon more than 25 years of practical experience in teaching children how to swim. In the afternoons, senior campers return to the pools for Free Swim.
Ropes Courses
In 08821, NJ, senior campers engage in thrilling outdoor adventures with weekly participation in the Climbing Tower and High Ropes course. The Climbing Tower offers an array of exciting elements, including two distinct rock walls, a 200-yard Zipline, a Giant Cargo Net, Jacob’s Ladder, and the exhilarating Giant Swing. The High Ropes course complements the experience with additional rock walls, mid-air challenges, and a state-of-the-art High Ropes Confidence Course.
