These senior campers can participate in a wide range of activities and select from more advanced options. Among the standout events of the summer for seniors are the Late Nights, which offer extended camp access for a special dinner, additional swim time, extra games, a distinctive event, and a twilight campfire featuring S’mores.
Senior Athletics

Creative Arts

Learn to Swim
In 08823, New Jersey, Oak Crest’s Learn to Swim Program is a cornerstone of our camp experience, taking full advantage of our state-of-the-art aquatic facility. Senior campers enjoy access to our impressive Gigantic Pool, which boasts eight 25-meter lanes.
Each morning, seniors engage in a 40-minute swim lesson led by certified swim instructors, with the support of group counselors. Our swim lessons are skill-based rather than age-dependent, allowing us to tailor instruction to challenge swimmers at various proficiency levels. We take pride in annually training and certifying our own instructors, drawing upon over 25 years of practical experience in teaching children the art of swimming. In the afternoons, senior campers return to the pools for Free Swim.
Ropes Courses
In 08823, New Jersey, senior campers enjoy a weekly adventure on our Climbing Tower and High Ropes course. The Climbing Tower boasts two distinct rock walls, a thrilling 200-yard Zipline, a challenging Giant Cargo Net, Jacob’s Ladder, and an exhilarating Giant Swing. Meanwhile, the High Ropes course offers further excitement with additional rock walls, mid-air challenges, and a state-of-the-art High Ropes Confidence Course.
Safety is paramount in our program. Each season, our ropes courses undergo rigorous inspection and certification by the company responsible for their construction. Moreover, our certified ropes instructors, who guide campers through all courses, conduct daily safety checks to ensure a secure and enjoyable experience.
Choice

Each week, they can select a new activity from a diverse rotating list that offers a blend of athletic and creative options. Additionally, Seniors have the special opportunity to either participate in our annual Drama Production or join the unique Dance routine, collectively known as Showcrest. The Senior performances in both the Drama and Dance productions consistently shine as standout highlights of our program.
Social Development
