They can select from a diverse menu of activities, including more advanced options. The highlights of the summer program for seniors include Late Nights, which offer extended camp access for a special dinner, additional swim time, extra games, a unique event, and a twilight campfire featuring S’mores.
Senior Athletics

Weekly schedules feature sports such as Soccer, Football, Tennis, Lacrosse, Archery, Basketball, Hockey, BMX, Skateboarding, and more. Furthermore, Senior Boys and Girls also incorporate League Play into their schedules, which involves friendly competitions in Soccer, Handball, Football, and Dodgeball. The activities and opponents rotate on a weekly basis, providing an enriching and competitive experience.
Creative Arts
Located in 08863, New Jersey, our program offers a rich array of artistic activities for your child, conducted in comfortable, air-conditioned classrooms under the guidance of experienced art instructors. Weekly sessions encompass a wide range of options, including Ceramics, Music, Mad Science, Cooking, Drama, Nature, Camper vs. Wild, Dance, Digital Photography, Jewelry Making, Computers, and more.
Additionally, all Senior Girl groups participate in an annual event called Showcrest, a significant Dance and Drama Production. This impressive showcase, traditionally held during the 6th week of camp at a local venue, features professional sound and lighting to provide a truly impactful experience.
Learn to Swim
Located in 08863, New Jersey, Oak Crest’s Learn to Swim Program is a cornerstone of our camp experience, making use of a state-of-the-art aquatic facility that includes the impressive Gigantic Pool equipped with eight 25m lanes.
Each morning, seniors participate in a 40-minute swim lesson led by certified swim instructors, with support from group counselors. Our swim lessons prioritize skill development rather than age, allowing us to challenge swimmers at varying proficiency levels. We annually train and certify our own instructors, drawing upon over 25 years of practical experience in teaching children how to swim. In the afternoons, senior campers have the opportunity to enjoy Free Swim sessions in our pools.
Ropes Courses
In 08863, New Jersey, seniors engage in weekly activities on the Climbing Tower and High Ropes course, providing exciting opportunities for adventure. The Climbing Tower boasts two distinct rock walls, a 200-yard Zipline, a Giant Cargo Net, Jacob’s Ladder, and the thrilling Giant Swing. Meanwhile, the High Ropes course offers additional rock walls, mid-air challenges, and a state-of-the-art High Ropes Confidence Course.
Ensuring utmost safety, our ropes courses undergo thorough inspection and certification before each season, performed by the company responsible for their construction. In addition to this, our certified ropes instructors, who guide the groups through all courses, conduct daily safety checks to guarantee a secure and enjoyable experience for all participants.
Choice

Moreover, for Seniors, there are exclusive opportunities to participate in our annual Drama Production or join the special Dance routine, collectively referred to as Showcrest. The Senior performances in both the Drama and Dance productions consistently shine as the show’s standout highlights.
Social Development
