They can engage in a variety of activities and select from advanced options. The standout summer events for seniors encompass Late Nights, offering extended camp access for a special dinner, additional swim time, extra games, a unique event, and a twilight campfire complete with S’mores.
Senior Athletics
Senior campers in 08875, NJ, participate in a diverse range of athletic activities on our full-sized fields. Their weekly schedules encompass sports like Soccer, Football, Tennis, Lacrosse, Archery, Basketball, Hockey, BMX, Skateboarding, and more. These sessions, led by Athletic Specialists, begin with skill instruction and culminate in gameplay that reinforces the newly acquired skills. Oak Crest counselors actively engage with campers, collaborating with specialists to create meaningful opportunities for success.

Creative Arts

Furthermore, as part of our program, all Senior Girl groups have the opportunity to showcase their dance routines in our annual Showcrest. This significant Dance and Drama Production takes place during the 6th week of camp at a local venue and boasts professional sound and lighting to create a truly impactful and memorable experience.
Learn to Swim
Within 08875, NJ, Oak Crest’s Learn to Swim Program serves as a fundamental component of our camp experience, making use of a state-of-the-art aquatic facility. Seniors gain access to the impressive Gigantic Pool, which boasts eight 25m lanes.
Each morning, our senior campers engage in a 40-minute swim lesson, guided by certified swim instructors and supported by group counselors. Our swim lessons are skill-focused rather than age-based, allowing us to challenge swimmers at various proficiency levels. We annually train and certify our instructors, drawing upon over 25 years of practical experience in teaching children how to swim. In the afternoons, senior campers return to the pools for Free Swim.
Ropes Courses
Located in 08875, NJ, our senior campers eagerly participate in weekly adventures on our Climbing Tower and High Ropes course. The Climbing Tower offers a thrilling experience with two distinct rock walls, a 200-yard Zipline, a Giant Cargo Net, Jacob’s Ladder, and an exhilarating Giant Swing. Meanwhile, our High Ropes course features additional rock walls, mid-air challenges, and a state-of-the-art High Ropes Confidence Course.
To prioritize safety, our ropes courses undergo thorough inspection and certification before each season by the company responsible for their construction. Furthermore, our certified ropes instructors, who lead the groups through all courses, conduct daily safety checks to ensure a secure and enjoyable experience for our campers.
Choice
In 08875, NJ, during the Choice period, our campers enjoy the freedom to select an activity for the week from a rotating list. Every week, they can choose a new activity from an ever-evolving list that encompasses a wide spectrum of athletic and creative options.
Moreover, our Senior campers have the unique opportunity to participate in our annual Drama Production or take part in the special Dance routine, collectively known as Showcrest. These Senior performances in both Drama and Dance consistently shine as standout highlights of the show.
Social Development
