Noteworthy summer events for seniors comprise ‘Late Nights,’ offering extended camp access for a special dinner, additional swim time, extra games, a unique gathering, and a twilight campfire featuring S’mores.
Senior Athletics

Creative Arts

Learn to Swim
In 08884, New Jersey, Oak Crest’s Learn to Swim Program serves as a fundamental component of the Oak Crest experience, making use of a cutting-edge aquatic facility. Seniors gain access to the impressive Gigantic Pool, which features eight 25m lanes. Each morning, Seniors participate in a 40-minute swim lesson led by certified swim instructors, with additional support from group counselors. Our swim lessons prioritize skill development over age, allowing us to challenge swimmers of varying proficiency levels. We annually train and certify our own instructors, leveraging more than 25 years of practical experience in teaching children how to swim. In the afternoons, Senior Campers return to the pools for Free Swim.
Ropes Courses
Within 08884, New Jersey, Seniors engage in weekly activities at the Climbing Tower and High Ropes course. The Climbing Tower boasts two distinct rock walls, a 200-yard Zipline, a Giant Cargo Net, Jacob’s Ladder, and the Giant Swing. Meanwhile, the High Ropes course features additional rock walls, mid-air challenges, and a state-of-the-art High Ropes Confidence Course. We prioritize safety by subjecting our ropes courses to thorough inspection and certification before each season, conducted by the company responsible for their construction. Choice

Each week, campers can choose a new activity from a diverse list that encompasses both athletic and creative options. In addition to these choices, Seniors have the chance to be part of our annual Drama Production or participate in a special Dance routine, collectively referred to as Showcrest. The Senior performances in both the Drama and Dance productions consistently shine as the highlights of the show.
Social Development
