Highlighted summer events for seniors encompass ‘Late Nights,’ granting extended camp access for a special dinner, extended swim hours, additional games, a distinctive event, and an enchanting twilight campfire featuring delectable S’mores.
Senior Athletics

Creative Arts

Additionally, our Senior Girl groups take center stage, showcasing dance routines in our annual Showcrest, a significant Dance and Drama Production. Learn to Swim
In 08899, NJ, Oak Crest’s Learn to Swim Program serves as a foundational component of the Oak Crest experience, making use of a state-of-the-art aquatic facility. Seniors enjoy exclusive access to the impressive Gigantic Pool, featuring eight 25m lanes.
Each morning, seniors engage in a 40-minute swim lesson, guided by certified swim instructors and supported by group counselors. Our swim lessons are skill-focused rather than age-dependent, enabling us to challenge swimmers of varying proficiency levels. We annually train and certify our own instructors, drawing upon more than 25 years of practical expertise in teaching children the art of swimming. In the afternoons, senior campers return to the pools for Free Swim.
Ropes Courses
Located in 08899, NJ, our senior campers have the opportunity to engage in weekly activities at the Climbing Tower and High Ropes course. The Climbing Tower boasts two distinct rock walls, a thrilling 200-yard Zipline, a challenging Giant Cargo Net, Jacob’s Ladder, and an exhilarating Giant Swing. Meanwhile, the High Ropes course offers additional rock walls, mid-air challenges, and a state-of-the-art High Ropes Confidence Course.
We prioritize safety, subjecting our ropes courses to thorough inspection and certification by the responsible construction company before each season. Furthermore, our certified ropes instructors, who lead the groups through all courses, conduct daily safety checks to ensure a secure and enjoyable experience.
Choice
In 08899, NJ, our campers enjoy the Choice period, where they can select their preferred activity for the week from a rotating list. Each week, campers have the chance to choose a new activity from a diverse list that encompasses various athletic and creative options. In addition to these choices, seniors have the unique opportunity to be part of our annual Drama Production or participate in a special Dance routine, collectively referred to as Showcrest. The senior performances in both the Drama and Dance productions consistently shine as standout highlights of the show.
Social Development
