Seniors (5th & 6th Graders) Summer Camp near 08901
Senior campers residing in 08901, New Jersey, have the privilege of immersing themselves in Oak Crest’s rich array of activities, including thrilling day trips such as the highly anticipated visit to Dorney Park. They can select from a wide spectrum of activities, including more advanced options. Notable summer highlights for seniors encompass Late Nights, offering extended camp hours with a special dinner, extra swimming opportunities, additional games, a distinctive event, and a twilight campfire featuring the delightful indulgence of S’mores.
Senior Athletics

The weekly schedules feature sports such as Soccer, Football, Tennis, Lacrosse, Archery, Basketball, Hockey, BMX, Skateboarding, and more. These activities are led by dedicated Athletic Specialists who provide skill instruction followed by gameplay to reinforce newly acquired skills. What sets Oak Crest apart is the active participation of our counselors alongside campers, working closely with specialists to create meaningful opportunities for success.
Furthermore, our Senior Boys and Girls take part in League Play, which is seamlessly integrated into their schedules. This involves friendly competitions in sports like Soccer, Handball, Football, and Dodgeball, with a rotation of activities and opponents each week, adding an extra layer of excitement and camaraderie to their experience.
Creative Arts

Furthermore, our Senior Girl groups showcase their talent through a dance routine presented in our annual Showcrest, a significant Dance and Drama Production. Learn to Swim
In 08901, NJ, Oak Crest’s Learn to Swim Program is a cornerstone of our camp experience, making use of a state-of-the-art aquatic facility. Seniors enjoy exclusive access to the impressive Gigantic Pool, boasting eight 25m lanes.
Each morning, seniors engage in a 40-minute swim lesson led by certified swim instructors, with the valuable support of group counselors. Our swim lessons are skill-focused rather than age-restricted, enabling us to challenge swimmers of varying proficiency levels. We take pride in annually training and certifying our own instructors, drawing from over 25 years of practical experience in teaching children the art of swimming. In the afternoons, senior campers return to the pools for Free Swim.
Ropes Courses
In 08901, NJ, senior campers have the exciting opportunity to engage in the Climbing Tower and High Ropes course on a weekly basis. The Climbing Tower offers two distinct rock walls, a 200-yard Zipline, a Giant Cargo Net, Jacob’s Ladder, and the thrilling Giant Swing. Meanwhile, the High Ropes course presents additional rock walls, mid-air challenges, and a state-of-the-art High Ropes Confidence Course.
To prioritize safety, our ropes courses undergo rigorous inspection and certification before each season, carried out by the company responsible for their construction. Furthermore, our certified ropes instructors, who guide the groups through all the courses, diligently conduct daily safety checks to ensure a secure and enjoyable experience for our campers.
Choice
In 08901, NJ, during the Choice period, campers enjoy the flexibility to choose their weekly activity from a rotating list. Each week presents campers with a fresh selection of options, spanning both athletic and creative pursuits.
For seniors, the choices extend to participating in our annual Drama Production or joining the special Dance routine, collectively known as Showcrest. The Senior performances in both the Drama and Dance productions consistently shine as standout highlights of the show, adding an extra layer of excitement and creativity to their camp experience.
Social Development
