Noteworthy events during the summer for seniors encompass ‘Late Nights,’ which extend camp hours to include a special dinner, additional swim sessions, extra games, a unique event, and a twilight campfire complete with S’mores.
Senior Athletics
At our Flemington, NJ location, seniors are actively engaged in a diverse array of athletic activities on our expansive full-sized fields. Weekly schedules are packed with sports including Soccer, Football, Tennis, Lacrosse, Archery, Basketball, Hockey, BMX, Skateboarding, and more. Our expert Athletic Specialists lead each session, providing skill instruction and facilitating gameplay to reinforce the newly acquired abilities. Oak Crest counselors actively participate alongside campers, collaborating with specialists to create meaningful opportunities for success.
In addition, Senior Boys and Girls incorporate League Play into their schedules, involving friendly competitions in Soccer, Handball, Football, and Dodgeball. These activities rotate weekly, offering a variety of opponents and challenges.
Creative Arts

Learn to Swim
In Flemington, NJ, Oak Crest’s Learn to Swim Program is a fundamental aspect of the Oak Crest experience, making use of a state-of-the-art aquatic facility. Seniors have exclusive access to the impressive Gigantic Pool, which boasts eight 25m lanes.
Each morning, seniors engage in a 40-minute swim lesson led by certified swim instructors, with additional support from group counselors. Our swim lessons prioritize skill development rather than being based solely on age, allowing us to challenge swimmers at various proficiency levels. We take pride in annually training and certifying our own instructors, drawing from over 25 years of practical expertise in teaching children how to swim. In the afternoons, Senior Campers return to the pools for Free Swim.
Ropes Courses
In Flemington, NJ, our senior campers enjoy weekly participation in the Climbing Tower and High Ropes course, providing them with thrilling and challenging experiences. The Climbing Tower boasts two distinct rock walls, a 200-yard Zipline, a Giant Cargo Net, Jacob’s Ladder, and the exhilarating Giant Swing. Meanwhile, the High Ropes course includes additional rock walls, mid-air challenges, and a state-of-the-art High Ropes Confidence Course.
