Weekly schedules feature sports such as Soccer, Football, Tennis, Lacrosse, Archery, Basketball, Hockey, BMX, Skateboarding, and more. Our skilled Athletic Specialists lead each session, providing skill instruction followed by gameplay that reinforces newly acquired skills. Oak Crest counselors actively engage with campers, collaborating with specialists to create meaningful opportunities for success.
In addition to the regular activities, Senior Boys and Girls incorporate League Play into their schedules, involving friendly competitions in Soccer, Handball, Football, and Dodgeball. These competitions rotate with different activities and opponents each week, adding an extra layer of excitement and variety to the camp experience.

Furthermore, all Senior Girl groups take part in an annual event known as Showcrest. Showcrest is a significant Dance and Drama Production traditionally held during the 6th week of camp at a local venue. In Neshanic Station, NJ, Oak Crest’s Learn to Swim Program is a foundational component of the Oak Crest experience, conducted in a state-of-the-art aquatic facility. Seniors have exclusive access to the impressive Gigantic Pool, featuring eight 25m lanes.
Each morning, seniors participate in a 40-minute swim lesson led by certified swim instructors, with support from group counselors. Our swim lessons are skill-based, not age-dependent, allowing us to challenge swimmers at various proficiency levels. Annually, we train and certify our own instructors, drawing upon over 25 years of practical experience in teaching children how to swim. In the afternoons, senior campers return to the pools for Free Swim.
