Notable summer events for seniors feature ‘Late Nights,’ which offer extended camp access for special dinners, extra swim time, additional games, unique events, and a twilight campfire complete with S’mores.
Senior Athletics

Creative Arts

Learn to Swim
In Warren, NJ, Oak Crest’s Learn to Swim Program plays a crucial role in enhancing the Oak Crest experience, making use of a state-of-the-art aquatic facility. Seniors have exclusive access to the impressive Gigantic Pool, which boasts eight 25m lanes.
Each morning, Senior campers engage in a 40-minute swim lesson led by certified swim instructors, with support from group counselors. Our swim lessons prioritize skill development over age, allowing us to challenge swimmers at various proficiency levels. Furthermore, we annually train and certify our own instructors, drawing from over 25 years of practical experience in teaching children how to swim. In the afternoons, Senior Campers return to the pools for Free Swim.
Ropes Courses
In Warren, NJ, our Senior campers actively engage in weekly adventures on the Climbing Tower and High Ropes course. The Climbing Tower offers two unique rock walls, a thrilling 200-yard Zipline, a challenging Giant Cargo Net, Jacob’s Ladder, and an exhilarating Giant Swing. Meanwhile, the High Ropes course features additional rock walls, mid-air challenges, and a cutting-edge High Ropes Confidence Course.
To ensure the utmost safety, our ropes courses undergo meticulous inspection and certification before each season, overseen by the company responsible for their construction.
