Oak Crest Day Camp, located near the 07076 area in New Jersey, is an ideal summer destination designed for kids aged 3 to 15. 3-5 Year Olds (Munchkins)
At Oak Crest, we offer specialized programs for 3 to 5-year-olds in our Munchkin Division, ensuring a high level of personalized attention with a low camper-to-staff ratio. Each group consists of 10 to 12 campers accompanied by 3 to 4 staff members, creating a safe and nurturing environment for your child.
One of the key highlights of our Munchkin Program is its emphasis on teaching kids how to swim. We understand the importance of water safety and prioritize building your child’s comfort and proficiency in the water. Our specially trained Munchkin Specialists lead engaging activities that not only enhance swimming skills but also promote the development of gross and fine motor skills. These activities are thoughtfully designed to provide an age-appropriate and enriching experience for your little one.
Explorers (1st and 2nd Graders)
For parents in the 07076 area, our Explorers program offers a fantastic experience for your children. Similar to the Munchkin program, Explorers engage in a variety of athletic and creative activities that not only keep them active but also foster the development of social and emotional intelligence.
As your child progresses through Oak Crest, they’ll have the opportunity to explore exciting activities. In the first grade, campers are introduced to exhilarating adventures like the Climbing Tower, Zipline, Giant Swing, and GAGA, providing them with thrilling experiences and helping them build confidence.
By the second grade, campers enjoy the freedom of choice with our CHOICE periods. This means they get to select their preferred activities on a weekly basis, tailoring their camp experience to their individual interests and preferences. This personalized approach ensures that each child has a fulfilling and enjoyable summer at Oak Crest.
Juniors (3rd & 4th Graders)
For parents residing in the 07076 area, our Junior program at Oak Crest offers an exciting array of activities tailored for children of this age group. Juniors get to participate in a diverse set of activities that include Archery, Mountain Biking, Lacrosse, High Ropes, BMX, Skatepark, and Camper vs. Wild, ensuring a well-rounded and adventurous camp experience.
In addition to these activities, our Junior program also incorporates essential components like athletic and creative pursuits, Instructional Swim, and access to the Climbing Tower. This comprehensive approach ensures that campers not only have fun but also develop valuable skills during their time at Oak Crest.
Furthermore, Juniors get to enjoy Late Nights, which provide extended camp access for even more excitement. These evenings include special dinners, additional swim time, engaging games, unique events, and the classic campfire experience complete with S’mores, creating unforgettable memories for your child.
Seniors (5th & 6th Graders)
For parents residing in the 07076 area, our Senior campers at Oak Crest have a lot to look forward to. They get to fully immerse themselves in the camp experience, enjoying all the activities we offer. Beyond that, they also have the opportunity to embark on thrilling day trips, such as visits to Dorney Park, which add an extra layer of excitement to their summer.
Our Senior campers are not only engaged in regular camp activities but also have access to a diverse range of advanced Choice offerings. This means they can tailor their camp experience to their specific interests, making each day at Oak Crest uniquely fulfilling.
In addition to these experiences, our Senior Late Nights provide extended camp access for even more fun. These evenings include special dinners, additional swim time, exciting games, a one-of-a-kind event, and a twilight campfire with S’mores, ensuring that your child creates unforgettable memories and friendships during their time with us.
Teen Travel (7th, 8th, & 9th Graders)
For parents residing near the 07076 area, our camp offers an exciting Choice program for campers. During Choice periods, campers have the freedom to pick an activity they’d like to participate in for the week. This allows them to explore a diverse range of options, as our list of activities constantly evolves, ensuring there’s always something new and interesting to choose from.
Apart from the wide array of athletic and creative activities, our Senior campers have the unique opportunity to take part in our annual Drama Production or join our special Dance routine, known as Showcrest. Social Development
