3-5 Year Olds (Munchkins)
Oak Crest offers two distinct programs for 3 to 5-year-olds in our Munchkin Division: a 5 full-day and a 3 full-day program. We maintain a low camper-to-staff ratio to ensure personalized attention, with each group consisting of 10 to 12 campers and 3 to 4 staff members. Our primary focus is on safety and providing nurturing care.
One of the key highlights of our Munchkin Program is our emphasis on teaching children to swim. We understand the importance of water safety, and our program is dedicated to building both comfort and proficiency in the water. Our specially trained Munchkin Specialists oversee this aspect, ensuring that it’s age-appropriate and enriching.
In addition to swimming, our program also focuses on enhancing gross and fine motor skills through a variety of athletic and creative activities. These activities are carefully designed to promote the physical and cognitive development of our young campers, all while providing a fun and engaging experience.
Explorers (1st and 2nd Graders)

Similar to our Munchkins, Explorers also engage in a range of athletic and creative activities, all while focusing on improving their swimming skills and developing important social and emotional intelligence.
In the first grade, our young campers are introduced to exciting activities such as the Climbing Tower, Zipline, Giant Swing, and GAGA. These adventures are designed to provide them with new challenges and experiences that promote physical and emotional growth.
As campers progress to the second grade, they have the opportunity to enjoy CHOICE periods. During these periods, they can select their preferred activities on a weekly basis, allowing for a personalized and tailored summer experience. Juniors (3rd & 4th Graders)

They will also receive Instructional Swim sessions to improve their swimming skills and gain access to the Climbing Tower for adventurous challenges.

These Late Nights include a special dinner, additional swim time, engaging games, a unique event, and a memorable twilight campfire complete with delicious S’mores. Seniors (5th & 6th Graders)

Teen Travel (7th, 8th, & 9th Graders)

In addition to the traditional activities, Seniors can take on roles in our annual Drama Production or be a part of our special Dance routine, which we fondly call Showcrest! The Senior participation in both the Drama and Dance productions is always a highlight, adding a unique and memorable element to the show.
