3-5 Year Olds (Munchkins)
Oak Crest offers two distinct programs for 3 to 5-year-olds in our Munchkin Division: a 5 full-day program and a 3 full-day program. What sets us apart is our commitment to maintaining a low camper-to-staff ratio, ensuring personalized attention and safety for your child. Each group consists of 10 to 12 campers, supervised by 3 to 4 staff members who prioritize safety and nurturing care.
One of our core focuses in the Munchkin Program is teaching your child to swim. We dedicate significant efforts to building their comfort and proficiency in the water. Beyond swimming, our program also emphasizes the development of gross and fine motor skills through a variety of athletic and creative activities. These activities are led by specially trained Munchkin Specialists who are skilled at providing an age-appropriate and enriching experience for your child.
Explorers (1st and 2nd Graders)
For parents residing in the 08816 area, our Explorers program offers a comprehensive experience for children. Similar to our Munchkin program, Explorers engage in a variety of athletic and creative activities. We also emphasize the improvement of swimming skills and the development of social and emotional intelligence.
As children progress into the first grade, they get to experience exciting activities like the Climbing Tower, Zipline, Giant Swing, and GAGA. These activities are designed to provide a thrilling and adventurous experience for our young campers.
In the second grade, campers enjoy CHOICE periods, allowing them to select their preferred activities on a weekly basis. This personalized approach ensures that each child has the opportunity to explore and engage in activities that align with their interests and preferences.
Juniors (3rd & 4th Graders)
For parents residing in the 08816 area, the Junior program at Oak Crest offers an exciting array of activities for their children. Juniors participate in a diverse set of activities such as Archery, Mountain Biking, Lacrosse, High Ropes, BMX, Skatepark, and Camper vs. Wild.
The program is designed to provide a balanced mix of athletic and creative activities, with a focus on skill development. Juniors also have access to Instructional Swim and the Climbing Tower, where they can build swimming proficiency and challenge themselves on the climbing course.
Furthermore, Juniors get to enjoy special Late Nights at the camp, which extend their access to the camp facilities. These evenings include a special dinner, extra swim time, engaging games, a unique event, and a memorable twilight campfire where they can savor delicious S’mores. It’s a well-rounded program designed to create lasting summer memories for your child.
Seniors (5th & 6th Graders)
For parents residing in the 08816 area, our Senior campers at Oak Crest have a thrilling summer experience ahead. Senior campers get to partake in all the camp activities, ensuring a well-rounded and enriching experience.
In addition to the regular camp activities, they embark on multiple exciting day trips to places like Dorney Park, adding an element of adventure to their summer. Furthermore, Senior campers have access to a diverse array of advanced Choice offerings, allowing them to explore and pursue their specific interests.
To make their summer even more memorable, Senior campers also participate in Senior Late Nights. These special evenings provide extended camp time, a delightful dinner, extra swim sessions, engaging games, a unique event, and a memorable twilight campfire complete with S’mores. It’s a summer filled with fun, growth, and unforgettable moments for your child.
Teen Travel (7th, 8th, & 9th Graders)
In our Choice program, campers have the freedom to choose an activity to engage in for a week-long period. What makes this program exciting is that each week, campers can explore a new Choice from a constantly evolving list of activities. This approach ensures that there’s always something fresh and captivating for them to try.
Aside from the wide range of athletic and creative activities available, Senior campers have the option to take part in our annual Drama Production or join our special Dance routine, known as Showcrest. These productions are a highlight of our camp’s cultural events, and the performances by our Senior campers consistently steal the show. It’s an opportunity for them to showcase their talents and creativity in a memorable way.
Social Development
Oak Crest’s camp counselors play a crucial role in guiding campers through various team-building challenges and competitions. These activities are designed to cultivate essential skills such as teamwork, support, and effective communication among the campers.

It’s important to note that Oak Crest has a strict zero-tolerance policy when it comes to bullying. LIT Program (10th & 11th Graders)
For parents residing in the 08816 area, the LIT (Leadership in Training) Experience at Oak Crest is a unique opportunity for their 9th, 10th, and 11th-grade campers. This program goes beyond the traditional camp activities and offers hands-on leadership skill development in a dynamic setting.
LIT participants engage in activities that center around problem-solving, role modeling, and teamwork. These experiences are designed to cultivate a sense of responsibility and leadership.
