3-5 Year Olds (Munchkins)
At Oak Crest, we offer two distinct programs designed specifically for 3 to 5-year-olds in our Munchkin Division: a 5 full-day program and a 3 full-day program. We take pride in maintaining a low camper-to-staff ratio, ensuring that each child receives personalized attention and care. In our groups, there are typically 10 to 12 campers, accompanied by 3 to 4 dedicated staff members who prioritize the safety and well-being of every child.
One of the key focuses of our Munchkin Program is teaching children to swim. We understand the importance of water safety and aim to instill confidence and proficiency in the water. Our approach involves specialized training and activities led by Munchkin Specialists who are experts in providing age-appropriate and enriching experiences for young campers.
Moreover, our program goes beyond swimming; it also emphasizes the development of gross and fine motor skills. Through a variety of athletic and creative activities, children have the opportunity to enhance their physical abilities while having fun. We believe in nurturing the holistic growth of our Munchkin campers, and our dedicated staff is committed to providing a well-rounded and engaging experience.
Explorers (1st and 2nd Graders)

Similar to the Munchkin program, Explorers engage in a variety of athletic and creative activities. They also focus on improving their swimming skills while developing essential social and emotional intelligence.
In the first grade, campers are introduced to exciting activities such as the Climbing Tower, Zipline, Giant Swing, and GAGA, adding an element of adventure to their camp experience. These activities not only offer fun but also help build physical and social confidence.

Juniors (3rd & 4th Graders)

Within this program, Juniors enjoy both athletic and creative activities, ensuring a well-rounded experience. They also receive Instructional Swim sessions to enhance their swimming abilities. Additionally, they have access to our Climbing Tower, providing opportunities for adventure and building confidence.
One of the highlights for Juniors is our Late Nights program, which extends camp access and includes special perks like a special dinner, extra swim time, engaging games, a unique event, and a twilight campfire complete with delicious S’mores. This adds an extra layer of excitement and camaraderie to their Oak Crest experience, making memories that will last a lifetime.
Seniors (5th & 6th Graders)

Teen Travel (7th, 8th, & 9th Graders)

What sets our Choice program apart is that each week, campers have the freedom to choose a new activity from a constantly evolving list of options. These activities span across a wide range of athletic and creative pursuits, ensuring there’s always something new and exciting to try.
For Senior campers, in particular, we offer additional opportunities beyond the usual athletic and creative activities. They have the option to take part in our annual Drama Production or participate in a special Dance routine known as Showcrest. These performances are highly anticipated, and the Senior campers’ involvement is a highlight of the show, showcasing their talent and dedication. Social Development
