3-5 Year Olds (Munchkins)
At Oak Crest, we offer two programs for 3 to 5-year-olds in our Munchkin Division: a 5 full-day and a 3 full-day option. We maintain a low camper-to-staff ratio to ensure personalized attention, with each group consisting of 10 to 12 campers supervised by 3 to 4 staff members. Our primary focus is on safety and providing nurturing care.
One of the key highlights of our Munchkin Program is our strong emphasis on teaching children to swim. We understand the importance of water safety and comfort, which is why we have dedicated efforts to help our young campers build confidence and proficiency in the water. Our approach involves specially trained Munchkin Specialists who guide the children through age-appropriate activities aimed at enhancing their gross and fine motor skills. These activities include a mix of athletic and creative endeavors, all designed to offer an enriching experience that aligns with the developmental needs of our Munchkin campers.
Explorers (1st and 2nd Graders)

In this program, first graders get to experience exciting adventures like the Climbing Tower, Zipline, Giant Swing, and the fun game of GAGA. These activities not only provide a thrilling experience but also encourage them to overcome challenges and build confidence.

Seniors (5th & 6th Graders)

In addition to the standard camp activities, seniors have access to a diverse selection of advanced Choice offerings, allowing them to tailor their camp experience to their interests and preferences.
Furthermore, senior campers can look forward to Senior Late Nights, which extend their camp time and add an extra layer of excitement. Teen Travel (7th, 8th, & 9th Graders)
At Oak Crest, we offer a unique Choice program that allows campers to pick an activity they’re passionate about each week. The options are diverse, with a regularly updated list of activities to choose from.
In addition to a wide range of athletic and creative activities, seniors have the opportunity to play a role in our annual Drama Production or take part in our special Dance routine, known as Showcrest. It’s worth noting that the participation of seniors in both the Drama and Dance productions is always a highlight of the show. This aspect of our program allows campers to explore their artistic talents and showcase their abilities in a memorable way.
Social Development
