3-5 Year Olds (Munchkins)
At Oak Crest, we offer two program options for children aged 3 to 5 in our Munchkin Division: a 5 full-day and a 3 full-day program. Our commitment to personalized attention is evident through our low camper-to-staff ratio, with each group consisting of 10 to 12 campers and 3 to 4 staff members. Our primary focus is on ensuring safety and providing nurturing care to your little ones.
One of the key highlights of our Munchkin Program is our dedication to teaching children how to swim. We understand the importance of water safety, and our specially trained Munchkin Specialists work diligently to help your child become comfortable and proficient in the water. Moreover, our program goes beyond swimming; it also emphasizes the development of gross and fine motor skills. This is achieved through a variety of athletic and creative activities, all carefully designed to offer an age-appropriate and enriching experience for your child.
Explorers (1st and 2nd Graders)
The parents residing in the 08875 area will find that our Explorers program offers a well-rounded experience for their children. Similar to the Munchkins, Explorers also participate in a range of athletic and creative activities that not only keep them active but also foster creativity. Furthermore, they continue to work on improving their swimming skills and develop valuable social and emotional intelligence.
For our first-grade campers, we introduce them to exciting activities such as the Climbing Tower, Zipline, Giant Swing, and GAGA, providing them with thrilling challenges and adventures.
As children progress into the second grade, they have the opportunity to personalize their camp experience through CHOICE periods. Each week, campers get to select their preferred activities, allowing them to tailor their time at camp to their individual interests and preferences. This approach ensures that each child’s camp experience is uniquely suited to their needs and desires.
Juniors (3rd & 4th Graders)
For parents living in the 08875 area, the Junior program at Oak Crest offers an extensive array of activities designed to keep your children engaged and active. These activities include Archery, Mountain Biking, Lacrosse, High Ropes, BMX, Skatepark, and Camper vs. Wild.
The Junior program is not just about fun; it’s also about skill development. In addition to the athletic and creative activities, the program includes Instructional Swim to enhance swimming skills, as well as access to the Climbing Tower to build confidence and physical strength.
As an added bonus, Juniors get to enjoy Late Nights, which extend their camp access with special perks. This includes a special dinner, extra swim and games, a unique event, and a twilight campfire where they can savor delicious S’mores. This creates memorable experiences that go beyond the regular camp routine and add an extra layer of enjoyment to their time at Oak Crest.
Seniors (5th & 6th Graders)
For parents residing in the 08875 area, our Senior campers at Oak Crest have an enriching camp experience. They have access to all camp activities, ensuring a well-rounded and engaging summer.
In addition to the regular activities, Senior campers get the chance to embark on thrilling day trips, including exciting destinations like Dorney Park. These trips add an extra layer of adventure and exploration to their camp experience.
Moreover, our Senior campers have the opportunity to choose from a wide range of advanced Choice offerings. This allows them to tailor their camp experience to their specific interests, ensuring that they get the most out of their time at Oak Crest.
To make their experience even more special, Senior Late Nights are a part of the program. During these nights, campers enjoy extended camp hours, a special dinner, extra swim and games, a unique event, and a twilight campfire complete with S’mores. These activities create lasting memories and enhance their overall camp adventure.
Teen Travel (7th, 8th, & 9th Graders)
For parents residing in the 08875 area, our camp offers an exciting program called Choice, where campers have the freedom to choose an activity for the week. This means that every week, campers have the opportunity to explore a new activity from our ever-changing list of options.
In addition to the wide range of athletic and creative activities, our Senior campers have unique opportunities. They can opt to take part in our annual Drama Production or join our special Dance routine, both of which are collectively known as Showcrest. These performances are a highlight of our camp, and the Senior campers’ contributions to the Drama and Dance productions are always standout moments in the show. This gives them a chance to showcase their talents and creativity in a memorable way, adding an extra layer of excitement to their camp experience.
Social Development
