Oak Crest’s Munchkin Program in Basking Ridge is tailored for 3 to 5-year-olds, offering 5 full-day and 3 full-day options with a low camper-to-staff ratio. Each group, comprising 10 to 12 campers, is supervised by 3 to 4 staff members, prioritizing safety and individualized attention.
A key feature of the program is its emphasis on swimming proficiency. Specially trained Munchkin Specialists lead age-appropriate sessions to build aquatic skills and confidence. The program extends beyond swimming, focusing on holistic development through diverse athletic and creative activities. Juniors (3rd & 4th Graders)
For parents in the vicinity of Basking Ridge, Juniors at Oak Crest participate in a diverse array of activities, such as Archery, Mountain Biking, Lacrosse, High Ropes, BMX, Skatepark, and Camper vs. Wild. Additionally, Juniors get to savor special moments during Late Nights, which extend camp access to include a special dinner, extra swim time, engaging games, a unique event, and culminate in a twilight campfire complete with the classic treat of S’mores. Seniors (5th & 6th Graders)

From the thrill of multiple day trips, including adventures at Dorney Park, to a diverse range of advanced Choice offerings, your child will experience a summer filled with excitement and growth.
As part of the Senior Late Nights program, your camper will enjoy extended camp hours, a special dinner, extra swim and games sessions, a unique event, and the enchantment of a twilight campfire complete with S’mores. Teen Travel (7th, 8th, & 9th Graders)
In the Choice program, campers have the opportunity to pick an activity for the week. Every week, campers can choose from a diverse array of activities, ranging from athletics to creative pursuits. Seniors, in particular, can opt to take part in our annual Drama Production or engage in a unique Dance routine. These activities culminate in our much-anticipated event known as Showcrest, where the senior participants play a pivotal role and are the highlight of both the Drama and Dance productions.
Social Development
