3-5 Year Olds (Munchkins)
Oak Crest offers two program options, a 5 full-day and a 3 full-day program, designed for children aged 3 to 5 in our Munchkin Division. We maintain a low camper-to-staff ratio, with groups consisting of 10 to 12 campers and 3 to 4 staff members, ensuring personalized attention and a focus on safety and nurturing care.
One of the key priorities in the Munchkin Program is swimming. Our dedicated efforts aim to foster comfort and proficiency in the water. In addition, the program includes a variety of athletic and creative activities, all led by specially trained Munchkin Specialists. These activities are carefully designed to enhance both gross and fine motor skills, offering an age-appropriate and enriching experience for our young campers.
Explorers (1st and 2nd Graders)
Similar to Munchkins, Explorers also participate in athletic and creative activities, work on improving their swimming abilities, and cultivate social and emotional intelligence. First graders are introduced to exciting features like the Climbing Tower, Zipline, Giant Swing, and GAGA. When campers reach second grade, they have the opportunity to enjoy CHOICE periods, allowing them to select their preferred activities on a weekly basis, tailoring their experiences to their individual interests.
