Oak Crest presents two distinct programs, a 5 full-day and a 3 full-day option, tailored to children between the ages of 3 and 5 in our Munchkin Division. We maintain a low camper-to-staff ratio, with each group comprising 10 to 12 campers and 3 to 4 dedicated staff members, ensuring a focus on safety and individualized care.
Our Munchkin Program places a significant emphasis on swimming, aiming to foster both comfort and proficiency in the water. This specialized program also facilitates the development of gross and fine motor skills through a variety of athletic and creative activities. These activities are facilitated by Munchkin Specialists who are specifically trained to provide age-appropriate and enriching experiences for the children.
In the Manville-based program for first and second graders, known as Explorers, children partake in a blend of athletic and creative activities to foster swimming proficiency and nurture their social and emotional intelligence. First graders are introduced to exciting activities such as the Climbing Tower, Zipline, Giant Swing, and GAGA.
In the second grade, campers have the opportunity to engage in CHOICE periods, where they can select preferred activities on a weekly basis, tailoring their experiences to their individual interests and preferences.
In Manville, at Oak Crest, the Junior program offers a diverse array of activities such as Archery, Mountain Biking, Lacrosse, High Ropes, BMX, Skatepark, and Camper vs. Wild. This program encompasses a mix of athletic and creative pursuits, along with Instructional Swim and access to the Climbing Tower.
Juniors also have the privilege of participating in Late Nights, which extend camp hours and include special dinners, additional swim time, games, unique events, and a twilight campfire with S’mores, enhancing their overall camp experience.
In Manville, Oak Crest’s Senior campers have the opportunity to engage in a comprehensive range of camp activities, along with exciting day trips to destinations such as Dorney Park. Additionally, they can choose from an extensive selection of advanced Choice offerings.
Senior Late Nights further enhance their camp experience, extending the camp hours to accommodate special dinners, additional swim sessions, games, distinctive events, and culminating in a twilight campfire complete with S’mores.
At Oak Crest in Manville, during the Choice period, campers have the freedom to choose an activity they wish to engage in for the week. Every week, campers have the opportunity to select a new activity from a constantly evolving list of options. In addition to the wide range of athletic and creative activities, Senior campers can also opt to participate in our annual Drama Production or take part in a special Dance routine, collectively known as Showcrest. The Senior contributions to both the Drama and Dance productions consistently stand out as the highlight of the show.

In Manville, the LIT (Leadership-in-Training) Experience is designed for 9th, 10th, and 11th graders, offering practical leadership skill development in a dynamic context to enrich the camp experience for younger campers.
