Oak Crest offers specialized programs catering to 3 to 5-year-olds in the Munchkin Division, providing both 5 full-day and 3 full-day options. These programs maintain a low camper-to-staff ratio, ensuring personalized attention with each group consisting of 10 to 12 campers led by 3 to 4 staff members, with a primary focus on safety and attentive care.
A key emphasis within the Munchkin Program is on swimming. This program prioritizes building comfort and proficiency in the water, promoting aquatic skills development. Additionally, it fosters the enhancement of gross and fine motor skills through a variety of athletic and creative activities. These activities are guided by specially trained Munchkin Specialists who curate an age-appropriate and enriching experience for young participants.
In the Explorers program, similar to the Munchkin Division, participants partake in athletic and creative pursuits, work on improving their swimming abilities, and cultivate social and emotional intelligence. First graders are introduced to adventurous activities like the Climbing Tower, Zipline, Giant Swing, and GAGA. As they progress to the second grade, campers have the opportunity to enjoy CHOICE periods, allowing them to select preferred activities on a weekly basis for a personalized camp experience.
