Our hallmark feature is the seamless provision of door-to-door transportation, making it a convenient choice for families with busy schedules. Oak Crest offers a diverse array of engaging activities, fostering an enriching and exciting summer experience.
For our younger campers, the days are filled with opportunities for swimming, bicycling, rock climbing, and creative arts and crafts, ensuring a blend of fun and educational experiences. As children progress, they can delve into specialized programs, including day trips and overnight excursions, catering to those seeking adventure and independence. These activities are not merely about enjoyment; they are designed to instill lifelong skills. Whether it’s mastering swimming, cycling proficiency, or honing social, teamwork, and leadership abilities, Oak Crest provides a supportive and dynamic environment for personal growth.

3-5 Year Olds (Munchkins)
Oak Crest offers both 5 full-day and 3 full-day programs tailored to 3 to 5-year-olds within the Munchkin Division. We maintain a low camper-to-staff ratio, typically having groups of 10 to 12 campers supervised by 3 to 4 staff members, ensuring a personalized and safe environment.
Our Munchkin Program places a strong emphasis on developing swimming skills, aiming to foster both comfort and proficiency in the water. Additionally, the program enhances gross and fine motor skills through a range of athletic and creative activities, all guided by specially trained Munchkin Specialists. These activities are designed to provide age-appropriate and enriching experiences for young campers.
Explorers (1st and 2nd Graders)
Explorers, similar to Munchkins, participate in athletic and creative pursuits, focus on improving their swimming abilities, and work on developing their social and emotional acumen. First graders have the opportunity to experience the Climbing Tower, Zipline, Giant Swing, and GAGA. As second graders, campers have the added benefit of CHOICE periods, allowing them to choose their preferred activities on a weekly basis for a more personalized camp experience.
Juniors (3rd & 4th Graders)
At Oak Crest near Milltown, our Junior campers immerse themselves in a diverse set of activities such as Archery, Mountain Biking, Lacrosse, High Ropes, BMX, Skatepark, and Camper vs. Wild. Their program encompasses athletic and creative endeavors, instructional swim sessions, and access to the Climbing Tower. Juniors also relish Late Nights, which grant them extended camp access, a special dinner, additional swim time, engaging games, a unique event, and a twilight campfire featuring S’mores.
Seniors (5th & 6th Graders)
Senior campers at Oak Crest, located near Milltown, actively partake in the full spectrum of camp activities, including numerous exhilarating day trips such as Dorney Park. They are also provided with an extensive array of advanced Choice options. In addition, Senior Late Nights are a highlight, extending camp hours and featuring a special dinner, extra swim sessions, engaging games, a distinctive event, and a twilight campfire complete with S’mores.
Teen Travel (7th, 8th, & 9th Graders)
During the Choice period, campers in Milltown have the opportunity to pick an activity for the week. Every week, campers can choose a new activity from a continuously updated list. In addition to the various athletic and creative options, Senior campers can opt to take part in our annual Drama Production or participate in a special Dance routine. Our annual Dance and Drama Production, known as Showcrest, consistently features standout performances by our Senior participants, making it a highlight of the show.
Social Development
At Oak Crest, situated near Milltown, camp counselors guide groups through structured team-building challenges and competitions, fostering critical qualities such as teamwork, support, and effective communication. Our commitment to a zero-tolerance policy against bullying ensures a safe and nurturing environment, where children and adolescents can cultivate vital emotional and social skills, ultimately promoting respect and enduring friendships.
LIT Program (10th & 11th Graders)
The LIT Experience, designed for 9th, 10th, or 11th graders near Milltown, is a practical leadership development program within a dynamic setting. Participants engage in hands-on learning that emphasizes problem-solving, role modeling, and teamwork. The program instills a sense of responsibility and prepares LITs for future success in college, careers, and potential roles as outstanding camp staff members.
