Oak Crest offers both 5 full-day and 3 full-day programs tailored to 3 to 5-year-olds within the Munchkin Division. We maintain a low camper-to-staff ratio, typically having groups of 10 to 12 campers supervised by 3 to 4 staff members, ensuring a personalized and safe environment.
Our Munchkin Program places a strong emphasis on developing swimming skills, aiming to foster both comfort and proficiency in the water. Additionally, the program enhances gross and fine motor skills through a range of athletic and creative activities, all guided by specially trained Munchkin Specialists. These activities are designed to provide age-appropriate and enriching experiences for young campers.
Explorers, similar to Munchkins, participate in athletic and creative pursuits, focus on improving their swimming abilities, and work on developing their social and emotional acumen. First graders have the opportunity to experience the Climbing Tower, Zipline, Giant Swing, and GAGA. As second graders, campers have the added benefit of CHOICE periods, allowing them to choose their preferred activities on a weekly basis for a more personalized camp experience.
At Oak Crest near Milltown, our Junior campers immerse themselves in a diverse set of activities such as Archery, Mountain Biking, Lacrosse, High Ropes, BMX, Skatepark, and Camper vs. Wild. Their program encompasses athletic and creative endeavors, instructional swim sessions, and access to the Climbing Tower. Juniors also relish Late Nights, which grant them extended camp access, a special dinner, additional swim time, engaging games, a unique event, and a twilight campfire featuring S’mores.
Senior campers at Oak Crest, located near Milltown, actively partake in the full spectrum of camp activities, including numerous exhilarating day trips such as Dorney Park. They are also provided with an extensive array of advanced Choice options. In addition, Senior Late Nights are a highlight, extending camp hours and featuring a special dinner, extra swim sessions, engaging games, a distinctive event, and a twilight campfire complete with S’mores.
During the Choice period, campers in Milltown have the opportunity to pick an activity for the week. Every week, campers can choose a new activity from a continuously updated list. In addition to the various athletic and creative options, Senior campers can opt to take part in our annual Drama Production or participate in a special Dance routine. Our annual Dance and Drama Production, known as Showcrest, consistently features standout performances by our Senior participants, making it a highlight of the show.
