3-5 Year Olds (Munchkins)
For parents living near South Bound Brook, Oak Crest offers two program options for 3 to 5-year-olds in our Munchkin Division: a 5 full-day program and a 3 full-day program. Our priority is to ensure a high level of personalized attention, and to achieve this, we maintain a low camper-to-staff ratio in these groups. Each group consists of 10 to 12 campers, with 3 to 4 staff members, placing a strong emphasis on safety and nurturing care.
One of the core focuses of the Munchkin Program at Oak Crest is swimming. We are dedicated to helping young campers build both comfort and proficiency in the water. This includes a special dinner, extra swim time, engaging games, a unique event, and a twilight campfire complete with S’mores. Seniors (5th & 6th Graders)

Teen Travel (7th, 8th, & 9th Graders)
At Oak Crest, we offer our campers the opportunity to make their own choices during the Choice period. Each week, they can pick a new activity from a rotating list of options. Beyond the wide range of athletic and creative activities available, our Senior campers can also choose to be part of our annual Drama Production or participate in a special Dance routine, collectively known as Showcrest.
These performances are a highlight of our camp’s annual calendar. The Senior campers’ involvement in both the Drama and Dance productions consistently shines and adds a special touch to the shows. It’s a chance for them to showcase their talents and creativity, and it’s an experience they often cherish and remember fondly from their time at camp.
Social Development
