Teen Travel (7th, 8th & 9th Graders) Summer Camp near 07076
At Oak Crest, our 7th, 8th, and 9th-grade students are active participants in our Teen Travel Program, based in 07076, New Jersey. Our teen campers enjoy a dynamic schedule of Oak Crest activities, alongside the opportunity to embark on day and overnight trips. Specifically, 7th graders attend camp on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, reserving Tuesdays and Thursdays for day excursions. On the other hand, 8th and 9th graders have camp on Tuesdays and Thursdays, with travel days scheduled for Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Furthermore, teenagers can opt for either 2- or 3-day overnight trips to enhance their summer experience.
Located in 07076, New Jersey, Camp for teens at our facility follows a well-structured group itinerary. Teens are organized into small groups of 10-15 campers, each under the supervision of rigorously screened counselors. The daily schedule encompasses two designated free swim sessions, engaging activities like the Climbing Tower and Ropes Courses, an array of athletic and creative endeavors, and two Choice periods. These Choice periods offer teenagers the freedom to select their preferred activities, enabling them to explore a diverse range of options by choosing a new activity during each Choice period.
At our New Jersey location in 07076, we prioritize safety when our teens venture beyond our camp premises, adhering strictly to Oak Crest’s Travel Protocols. Every Teen Travel camper and their parents are required to sign our Teen Travel Behavior Contract. Similar to other divisions within our camp, both the 7th Grade Teen Travel and the 8th & 9th Grade Teen Travel Programs are under the supervision of an experienced adult Division Head. These division heads are responsible for overseeing the respective divisions within the camp and accompanying them on both day and overnight trips. Our dedicated Teen Staff undergoes specialized training to effectively supervise campers in public spaces and navigate the unique challenges associated with early adolescence.
