Teen Travel (7th, 8th & 9th Graders) Summer Camp near 08544
At our Oak Crest facility in 08544, New Jersey, our 7th, 8th, and 9th-grade students actively participate in the Teen Travel Program. This program not only includes engaging Oak Crest activities but also offers the opportunity for teens to explore various day and overnight trips outside the camp premises. Specifically, 7th graders attend camp on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, reserving Tuesdays and Thursdays for day trips. Conversely, 8th and 9th graders have camp on Tuesdays and Thursdays, with travel days scheduled for Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Additionally, teens have the option to partake in 2- or 3-day overnight trips.
Located in 08544, New Jersey, our Camp provides a structured group schedule for teens. Campers are organized into groups of 10-15, closely monitored by thoroughly vetted counselors. The daily schedule incorporates two periods of free swim, a variety of activities including the Climbing Tower and Ropes Courses, as well as a selection of athletic and creative pursuits. Additionally, there are two Choice periods, offering teens the flexibility to choose their preferred activity during each session and explore a diverse range of activities.
In our New Jersey-based facility at 08544, strict adherence to Oak Crest Travel Safety Protocols is paramount when our teens venture outside the camp premises. All Teen Travel campers and their parents are required to acknowledge and sign our Teen Travel Behavior Contract. Similar to other divisions within our camp, both the 7th Grade Teen Travel and the 8th & 9th Grade Teen Travel Programs are under the guidance of an adult Division Head who oversees their activities, accompanying them on both day and overnight trips. Our Teen Staff undergo specialized training to proficiently supervise campers in public spaces and address the unique challenges associated with early adolescence.
