Teen Travel (7th, 8th & 9th Graders) Summer Camp near 08850

At Oak Crest, our Teen Travel Program caters to students in 7th, 8th, and 9th grades, located in 08850, New Jersey. This program offers an enriching experience where teen campers actively engage in Oak Crest activities while also embarking on exciting day and overnight trips. Specifically, 7th-grade students attend camp on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, reserving Tuesdays and Thursdays for day trips. Conversely, 8th and 9th graders have camp sessions on Tuesdays and Thursdays, with travel days scheduled for Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Furthermore, our Teen participants have the option to choose between 2- or 3-day overnight trips, enhancing their summer adventure.

At our New Jersey location in 08850, Camp for teens follows a meticulously organized group schedule. Teenagers participate in various activities within groups comprising 10-15 campers, under the vigilant supervision of rigorously vetted counselors. The daily schedule features two designated periods for free swim, engaging activities like the Climbing Tower and Ropes Courses, a wide selection of athletic and creative pursuits, and two Choice periods. During these Choice periods, teens enjoy the flexibility to select their preferred activities, granting them the opportunity to explore a diverse range of options by choosing different activities during each Choice period.

At our location in 08850, New Jersey, Oak Crest maintains a stringent adherence to the Oak Crest Travel Protocols for Safety when our teen campers venture outside the camp premises. To ensure a secure environment, all Teen Travel campers and their parents are required to endorse our Teen Travel Behavior Contract. Similar to other divisions within the camp, both the 7th Grade Teen Travel and the 8th & 9th Grade Teen Travel Programs are under the vigilant supervision of an adult Division Head. These Division Heads are responsible for the overall supervision of their respective divisions within the camp and accompany them on both day and overnight trips.

Additionally, our Teen Staff undergoes specialized training to effectively oversee campers in public spaces and address the distinctive challenges associated with early adolescence, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants.
